When I first completed high school at Uniontown, I was going to be an accountant. That is not what the Lord had in mind for me so I was put on a different road. I met people that impacted my life and were instrumental in steering me toward nursing. I didn’t know it at the time, but looking back, I can see that His Plan is perfect… As is the timing.

I have been a family nurse practitioner since 1995. I started practicing in Pleasanton as a nurse practitioner and fell in love with the role. I have never had a “job”, it is my life. I am a servant by nature and am excited to get to help people improve their health. I wanted to open my own place several years back, but things just didn’t work out. Since October 2024, when I relinquished my role in Pleasanton, my clinic opened 5 weeks later. My family were extremely supportive of the move and worked long hours renovating the office building. For all those efforts, I will be eternally grateful.

Since making that significant professional change and opening my own clinic in Mound City, I am excited to expand services for residents that were not available in Linn County. the Lord paved the way for me to do this, so on a leap of faith, I jumped in to being a business owner.
